Round Light Tower
Price range: $760.00 through $970.00
description
Light your garden through a pattern. The Round Light Tower is a 1200 mm laser-cut cylinder in Australian Cor-Ten steel or powder-coated aluminium. By day it stands as a sculpture; at night, with a light inside, it throws its pattern out in every direction. Made to order at our Berkeley workshop.

Description
Most garden lighting is something you try to hide. A light tower is the opposite — a laser-cut cylinder that stands as a sculpture during the day and, with a light inside, throws its pattern across the garden at night.
With no corners, the pattern runs around a continuous curve, so the tower looks the same from every side. That makes the round version the one for an island bed, the middle of a lawn, or anywhere it’ll be seen from all around.
Every one is laser-cut to order at our workshop in Berkeley, NSW.
Choose your size
Both sizes stand 1200 mm tall:
- 250 mm diameter — slimmer, and easy to group in twos and threes
- 380 mm diameter — more presence as a single feature, and more room for the pattern
Need it shorter or taller? The Square Light Tower comes in six sizes from 600 mm to 2.4 m, or we can make a custom round size — ask for a quote.
Choose your pattern
The options above list our light tower patterns: Autumn Leaves, Champagne, Cootamundra Wattle, Crosshatch, Fanfare, Firewheel and Grevillea. Each is cut clean through the metal, so the pattern reads as shadow by day and as light at night.
Want something else? We’ve cut hundreds of one-off designs over the years. Send a photo, a sketch, or a description with a quote request, or browse our pattern gallery for ideas.
Choose your finish
Cor-Ten steel develops a natural rust patina that deepens over years and never needs painting. It sits naturally among timber, stone and native planting, and pairs with our Cor-Ten garden edging and planters if you’re doing the whole yard.
Powder-coated aluminium comes in the full Dulux powder coat range, weighs much less, and holds a crisp colour edge — the choice for contemporary gardens and darker palettes like Monument. Browse the Dulux colour chart →
Lighting
Lighting isn’t included, so you can choose what suits your site. Solar and low-voltage garden lights both work. We don’t recommend 240 volt lighting with any of our products, for safety reasons — if you’re hardwiring, have a licensed electrician run low-voltage cabling.

Ordering online

Ordering something custom
For a different size, a pattern that isn’t listed, or a design of your own, fill in the quote form below, email info@ironbarkmetaldesign.com or call 02 4229 2222. We’ll price it and send you a mock-up before anything is cut.
Lead time and delivery
Light towers are made to order, so allow 3–4 weeks for fabrication and delivery. We deliver Australia-wide with insurance through the courier, or you can collect free from Unit 2/7 Warehouse Pl, Berkeley NSW. See our Shipping & Returns policy for details.
Tell us where your tower is going — garden bed, lawn or paving — and we’ll advise the best way to fix it down.
Cor-Ten light towers ship un-rusted for mess-free delivery, and develop their patina on site over the first few months. To speed it up, dissolve a handful of table salt in 500 mL of white vinegar and apply in a shaded spot.
